Natalie Dormer announced on Jimmy Kimmel Live that filming for Game of Thrones season 6 has wrapped.
The actress paid a visit to the talk show to promote her new film The Forest, but conversation naturally turned to HBO’s most-watched-show where she announced the completion of the season to cheering from the studio audience.
Dorner— who plays Margaery Tyrell and usually films in Belfast, Northern Ireland— revealed that she “was in Spain a lot” for the latest season. When asked by Kimmel whether that fact was a spoiler, as last season ended with her still languishing in jail, Dormer laughed and said: “There are dungeons in Spain.”
She also said that she was a fan of the show before she was cast in the second season, so makes it a point to not read anyone elses storyline.
“I only read the scripts relevant to Margaery and Highgarden and King’s Landing. So when the show airs I am sitting on the couch watching it like you.”
