As darkness fell Wednesday night, authorities again suspended their search for Craig Strickland, frontman for the country band Backroad Anthem, who disappeared three days ago on a duck-hunting trip as a violent storm lashed Oklahoma and the rest of the Midwest.
The body of Strickland’s hunting buddy, Chase Morland, 22, was found Monday in Kaw Lake near Ponca City in northern Oklahoma, the state Highway Patrol said.
Troopers used a boat with side canning sonar, which can locate items submerged underwater, as well as a helicopter and ground crews in searching for Strickland, 29, on Wednesday.
The search will continue at 8 a.m…
