Tiger Woods’ Kids Say They Would Rather Be Lionel Messi Than Their Dad

Tiger Woods’ kids recently revealed that they don’t dream of following in their dad’s footsteps. In fact, their athletic aspirations don’t even involve golf.

When Woods went to the Bahamas earlier this month to support the Hero World Challenge, a benefit tournament sponsored by his foundation, he brought along his two children, Sam, 8, and Charlie, 6. During an interview with the golfer, a USA Today reporter asked the soccer-loving kids whether they would rather be their dad or soccer legend Lionel Messi. They both quickly responded, “Messi.”

“He’s playing,” Charlie added as an extra zinger, referencing Woods’ back injury and the reason he wasn’t playing in the tournament.
