America in 2015 has seen 294 mass shootings in 274 days, a level of violence The New York Times called a “gun epidemic” in its first front-page editorial in nearly 100 years. Now, several stars are also joining the plea to end gun violence.
Jennifer Aniston, Sofia Vergara, Adam Scott, Amanda Peet, Amy Schumer and many more appeared with President Barack Obama in a new video from Everytown Gun Safety. “We can end gun violence,” the celebrities say in the edited video, which is scored with Arcade Fire’s “Rebellion (Lies).”
It’s not the first time many of these stars have spoken out about the issue. Schumer, especially, has been a proponent of gun law reform. Watch the video above.
