Cookie Lyon from Fox’s hip-hop drama Empire is the most influential fictional character of 2015, and it’s tough to picture anyone other than Taraji P. Henson inhabiting the role. It’s pretty fun to try, however: James Corden imagines what it was like to go up against the Oscar-nominated actress during a segment for The Late Late Show, and their tense encounter before an audition quickly devolves into a competition to see who can out-Cookie the other. Insults are exchanged, wigs are snatched (metaphorically), and Henson even calls him the b-word — and we’re talking about boo-boo kitty, obviously.
