Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj might be the reigning queens in their respective musical genres, but both ladies decided to go face-to-face in a friendly competition to earn the title of “Ice Grill” Queen. In the clip below, the two engaged in a fierce staring contest while rehearsing for their first live performance of “Feeling Myself” together, and the outbursts of laughter were uncontrollable.
Both ladies are pretty serious when it comes to their music, but they couldn’t help but crack a smile when their dance moves forced them to lock eyes with each other.
It appears that Minaj won two out of three rounds, but Bey proved to be a good sport, and she even song a very cute tribute to Minaj. The 34-year-old singer transformed Prince‘s “Darling Nikki” into “Darling Nicki (Minaj)”. Talk about #squadgoals. Listen to the adorable tribute below.
