Noah examined the [#BoycottStarWarsEpisodeVII](https://twitter.com/search?q=%23BoycottStarWarsVII&src=tyah) movement, as well as its largest place in the landscape of complaints against diversity in pop culture. “Stop complaining, racists, you already had your _Star Wars_ movie,” Noah said, before showing a picture of Jar Jar Binks. Noah pointed out that the movement, which gained traction on social media following the trailer’s release, was described by newscasts as deriding the film for its “sinister multicultural agenda” by casting non-white and non-male actors in lead roles. Not everyone using the hashtag was in favor of its message, however; it was hijacked by many fans using the opportunity to ridicule the misguided movement.
