Watch an Elaborate Halloween Light Show Set to ‘Downtown’ by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis

Starting Saturday in Leesburg, Va., one house will boast an elaborate lights display programmed to “Downtown” by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.

Brandon Bullis, who has an electrical engineering background, says the approximately half-hour show — which will play nightly from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. until October 30 — is made up of 8,500 “energy-efficient LED” lights, so he estimates that the electric bill for the display will come out to about $25-30 up until it ends on Halloween. No music plays outside. “Viewers tune in their car’s FM radio to ‘hear the lights,'” he writes in the description of the video on YouTube.

His 2013 light show set to the Norwegian duo Ylvis’s viral tune “The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?)” racked up more than 7.8 million views on the video-sharing platform, while his 2012 one set to Korean pop star Psy’s “Gangnam Style” racked up 3.8 million.
