Fake Donald Trump called fake Ben Carson on Wednesday’s episode of The Tonight Show to “watch” the Democratic debate. More accurately: Jimmy Fallon brought back his yuuuge Trump impression to the late-night show, while David Alan Grier premiered his sleepy take on Carson.
As Fallon’s Trump bashed the candidates (calling Lincoln Chafee a “turtle that shops at Men’s Wearhouse”), Grier’s Carson referred to his sleeping habits, telling his fellow presidential candidate he gets “four hours of sleep per hour.” And he couldn’t help but fall asleep during the phone call, yelling “Hitler” as he awoke.
“You keep making outrageous comments everyday, saying crazy things,” Fallon’s Trump said. “Yet you’re going up in the polls. Stop stealing my campaign strategy!”
Watch the clip above to see Carson’s only-audible-to-dogs-whisper awaken Trump’s hair, confirming it’s animal-like qualities.
