Afghanistan Chopper Crash Kills 5, Including 2 Americans

Two U.S. servicemembers were among five people killed in a military chopper crash in Afghanistan’s capital, officials said Monday.

The deadly incident comes less than two weeks after six U.S. airmen were killed in a plane crash in Afghanistan.

The NATO-led coalition said Sunday that a British military helicopter had crashed at the mission’s headquarters in the Afghan capital of Kabul. It described the crash as an accident but initially did not give the nationalities of any casualties.
