During a presentation Oct. 6 in New York City, the company unveiled a new version, the Surface Pro 4\. The device, starting at $899, includes upgrade such as fingerprint sensor on the keyboard, a new pen for writing and drawing on the screen, and more powerful internal hardware. The device will compete in an increasingly crowded space that will soon include Google’s Pixel C and Apple’s iPad Pro. Here’s a closer look at the hardware.  The Surface Pro 4 runs the new Windows 10 Microsoft  It's reduced size and weight make it easier to transport. Microsoft  The keyboard is designed to sit raised off the table. Microsoft  Redesigned keys allow for faster and quieter typing. A fingerprint sensor has been added to the keyboard as well. Microsoft  It's display is slightly smaller than Apple's iPad Pro Microsoft  The stylus boasts 1,024 levels of pressure in the tip and a digital eraser on the back. Microsoft  Magnets allow it to be stored on the tablet's edge. Microsoft  It's personal assistant Cortana will help with a variety of tasks. Microsoft  The keypad is larger and has 5-point multitouch Microsoft  Improved speed with up to 16GM of RAM and 1TB storage. Microsoft  It's improved camera now has autofocus as well.
