Weeks after canceling a handful of concert dates due to doctor’s orders, Kelly Clarkson has canceled the remainder of her “Piece by Piece” tour.
The cancellation affects dates in the UK and Canada, with shows scheduled as early as tonight.
On Wednesday, the singer released a statement on her website apologizing and telling fans that the cancellations come after orders from her doctor to stay on vocal rest.
“I am truly sorry that I have to cancel the remainder of my tour dates,” Clarkson’s statement said. “I was so looking forward to sharing this tour with all my amazing fans in Canada and the UK. Unfortunately my doctor is telling me I have to stay on vocal rest, but I am working hard to get better as fast as possible.”
Clarkson, 33, cancelled six scheduled tour dates earlier this month when her doctor put her on vocal rest, but tweeted to fans that she was trying to get healthy and back on the road as soon as possible.
The expectant mom has not yet tweeted about the new cancellations, but her website promises that all tickets will be refunded.
