It’s always exciting when a cute animal makes its way onto the field at a sporting event. (Remember that gleeful wiener dog who recently stole the show at a baseball game?) On Monday’s Labor Day Classic in Calgary, Canada, it happened again — but this time with a rabbit.
The Edmonton Eskimos and the Calgary Stampeders were in the middle of their game when a rabbit appeared pretty much out of nowhere. He then proceeded to sprint gleefully all over the field.
The announcers got really into it, especially when the rabbit reached the end zone and “scored.” Also when he leapt about 20 feet into the air. Definitely a great way to spice up an otherwise ordinary football game.
