In a clip uploaded to YouTube on Aug. 15, footage of a cockatiel named “Patrick Jane” has been made to look like the bird is lip-syncing to Nelly’s R&B hit “Dilemma,” featuring Kelly Rowland.
It is the latest bird to go viral for “singing” popular music, from the 2010 clip of a parrot singing the theme song from the Nickelodeon show SpongeBob SquarePants, to the 2015 video of a parrot singing — more like shrieking — “Everything Is Awesome” from the 2014 blockbuster The LEGO Movie.
