In preparation for his title role in ABC’s upcoming miniseries Madoff, Richard Dreyfuss recreated the Ponzi schemer’s infamous portrait in front of his Lichtenstein collection.
The Oscar-winning actor portrays the Wall Street crook Bernie Madoff while Blythe Danner will portray his wife, Ruth. The miniseries set for 2016 marks the first dramatization of the scandal.
Production recently wrapped in and around New York on the miniseries that also stars Charles Grodin as Carl Shapiro. Madoff will follow the prodigious rise and abrupt demise of the former investment advisor and convicted felon, and the subsequent fallout on his family, associates and investors.
