Trevor Noah, the comedian set to take over The Daily Show in September, is wasting no time when it comes to getting his own comic sensibility out there. In an appearance on The Tonight Show Friday night, the South African comic described the presidential election as akin to Game of Thrones: “We need a map to show you who goes where, and how: The House of Bush!”
As for what outgoing Daily Show host Jon Stewart told him about taking on the fake-news stalwart: “Jon has some great advice and some of it, I don’t understand, but I just nod. [….] The most important thing he said was, ‘Go out there and have fun. Do the best show that you feel you can do and the show that you feel needs to be done.'”
