O mar Sharif starred in some of the most iconic films in Hollywood history, from epics like Lawrence of Arabia and Doctor Zhivago to the musical comedy Funny Girl . His peers in the acting community took to social media on Friday to mourn the star’s death at age 83 :
Sharif won Golden Globes for his performances in Lawrence of Arabia and Doctor Zhivago . He died on Friday of a heart attack in Cairo.
