It’s the classic rock fan’s dream opportunity. A chance to play with Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Ginger Baker and David Crosby.
According to rockcamp.com, the annual all-star music school will be held in Hollywood, Calif. from Nov. 5 to 8, culminating in a show at Whiskey a Go Go, a Sunset Strip club that’s seen the likes of Led Zeppelin and Janis Joplin.
Baker, the famed drummer from Eric Clapton’s rock trio Cream, and Crosby, a founding member of both the Byrds and Crosby, Stills and Nash, will not only mentor the camp participants, but also jam with them onstage. You don’t even need to know how to play — musicians of all levels can be accepted into the program, the website claims.
But all of that rock talent doesn’t come cheap. The Ginger Baker and David Crosby package costs around $5,999.
The camp offers a few other packages as well, including a youth camp for 12 to 16-year-olds and a recording studio session.
The sessions boast an impressive list of counselors — the website lists Teddy Andreadis from Guns ‘N Roses and Kane Roberts, who played with Alice Cooper, as teachers.
