Countless musical acts have made their debut on late night television with host Conan O’Brien—and now, more than 2,300 songs from those artists are making their way to Spotify for a new channel.
Artists who performed over the past 22 years will be featured on the 23 individual playlists, divided by year (prepare yourself for hours of nostalgic listening). Music by artists like Radiohead, The Black Keys, Ed Sheeran and more can be heard on the playlists as curated by Conan music booker Jim Pitt.
“And I told every one of them: you’ll never make it!” joked O’Brien during the announcement. “You call that music? Get out of here and don’t come back!”
The news follows the announcement that O’Brien will be hosting the Mockingjay – Part 2 panel at Comic Con this year, with more on that story available here. Watch the full announcement below.
