David Letterman’s last ever monologue on Late Show with David Letterman was, not surprisingly, very meta. His subject? David Letterman’s last ever monologue. The retiring late-night host included a good amount of self-deprecating humor, including shots at his failing eyesight and his inability to remember crew members’ names. He also offered a hint as to where you can find him and bandleader Paul Shaffer once Late Show has officially ascended to late-night heaven. Hint: It involves Las Vegas, Caesar’s Palace and a couple of white tigers.
