Ben Affleck’s The Accountant, his first film since Gone Girl and another thriller, has been given a Jan. 29, 2016 release date from Warner Bros.
In the film, Affleck plays a bright accountant who works as an assassin on the side. The Gavin O’Connor-directed film co-stars Anna Kendrick, J.K. Simmons, Jon Bernthal and Cynthia Addai-Robinson. The script comes from Bill Dubuque and producers include Lynette Howell and Mark Williams.
EW has also confirmed the release dates for the Warner Bros. films Arms and the Dudes, a crime-comedy starring Miles Teller and Jonah Hill, and Project XX, a sequel to the 2012 high-school comedy Project X, as March 11, 2016 and Aug. 19, 2016 respectively.
The studio also shifted the release of their untitled New Line Horror film, moved from Jan. 29 to Jan. 22, 2016, and has removed their WB special event film, originally slated for Jan. 15, 2016, from the schedule.
