Undateable has been renewed for a 13-episode third season—all of which will be aired live.
Following the highly buzzed live episode, which drew a steady 4.21 million viewers and a 1.3 in the demo, NBC has decided to air all of next season live. It’s as yet undetermined whether both coasts will get live airings, as they did with the trial run, or whether they’ll go with the Saturday Night Live model.
The question also remains whether Undateable will be able to attract the star power it did for its original episode. The live airing attracted Zach Braff, Donald Faison, Kate Walsh, Victoria Justice, Ed Sheeran and more.
