Everyone has seen people at the pool messing around and belly-flopping into the water. But Juan Guillermo Ríos, a professional diver from Colombia, took it to the next level with a botched dive off a 10-meter platform during the Diving World Series.
He and his partner were attempting a tandem reverse 3 1/2 somersault dive, the Huffington Post reports, when Ríos got out of sync and hit the water right on his back. He coughed up blood and went to the medic clinic after the fall, but told fans he was unharmed.
