Bar Refaeli Is Engaged to Adi Ezra

Bar Refaeli is officially off the market.

“We are pleased to announce the supermodel Bar Refaeli is engaged to her boyfriend Adi Ezra,” her rep confirmed to PEOPLE Wednesday.

Refaeli, 29, was introduced to the Israeli businessman, 40, through mutual friends about two years ago, according to local newspaper Israel HaYom.

The proposal is said to have taken place while the couple was vacationing in the Caribbean last week, the paper reports.

Although Refaeli has yet to comment on the happy news herself, actions may speak louder than words: on Wednesday afternoon she shared a kissing photo of the pair captioned, “love.”

In an interview with Israel HaYom last fall, the model spoke candidly of her and Ezra’s age difference. “I have always gone out with guys who are older than me,” Refaeli, who split from Leonardo DiCaprio, 40, in 2011 after a five-year relationship. “A 10-year age difference between a man and a woman isn’t so crazy. I actually think it’s a good thing.”

The model adds, “He went out with many other girls before me, he’s seen and done many things, and that’s just a much more complete place to come from. I prefer to date someone who has experienced and done many things and met people and is now ready to choose, rather than someone who doesn’t know.”
