The tweens have spoken, and the women of the music industry are set to win big at next month’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
All the nominations for Song of the Year are performed by women, Billboard reports, including Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off, Katy Perry’s Dark Horse and the Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj collaboration Bang Bang. Another 2014 anthem that made it to the category is Meghan Trainor’s All About That Bass.
But Australian rapper Iggy Azalea is by far the most popular among America’s adolescents, with her song Fancy and her appearance on Grande’s track Problem both getting nominated. Azalea is also nominated for the Favorite New Artist award, along with Trainor and Jessie J.
