Snowboarder Sorin Radu captured video footage on his GoPro that was probably a little more high-octane than he had anticipated.
The snowboarder and mountain rescue volunteer inadvertently got caught in an avalanche while going down Papusa Mountain in Gorj, Romania—and he caught it on video.
About 17 seconds into the video, viewers can see the snow start to shift under Radu’s board. He is then overtaken by snow. Luckily, Radu emerged apparently unharmed.
