Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman missed out on a second Super Bowl ring, but he got an amazing consolation prize in the form of his first child on Thursday.
Sherman announced the birth early Thursday morning on his Twitter account.
As the cornerback notes, his son’s birthday lines up perfectly with his jersey number 25.
Sherman went against his coach’s suggestion of “Li’l Petey” and has named his child Rayden, according to SI’s Peter King.
