INXS guitarist and founding member Tim Farriss may never be able to play guitar again after his finger was ripped off in a boating accident.
He underwent two operations to reattach the finger and is seeing a physiotherapist to try to regain movement, but the accident caused permanent damage to his left hand, reports ABC.
“He is getting the best possible care and we hope with time he will regain movement in his finger,” said INXS manager Chris ‘CM’ Murphy.
This is not the first time tragedy has struck the band in 1997 the lead singer Michael Hutchence was found hanged in his hotel room.
