Channing Tatum told TIME last year that the Magic Mike XXL crew “got Joe Manganiello naked as much as possible” on set. The first trailer for the upcoming sequel, which hits theaters July 1, hasn’t delivered on Tatum’s promise for some gratuitous Joe Manganudity, but it does feature Tatum recalling his Step Up days with some tight choreography set to Ginuwine’s 1996 classic “Pony.” The trailer also doesn’t reveal much about the film’s plot, which Tatum co-wrote, but, wait, hold up, you weren’t watching this movie for its plot, were you?
