Anne Hathaway — the ever-polarizing actress adored by some and loathed by many — is one of those celebrities who keeps quiet on social media. She does have an Instagram account, but since joining last August (to share an Ice Bucket Challenge video), the Interstellar star has only posted a handful of times. And she has completely steered clear of Facebook — until now, which might have something to do with promoting her new movie, Song One.
Now, the actress finally joined the social networking site, sharing the following introduction:
Within three hours of posting, she gained more than 1.6 million followers, and comments on her first post and her profile picture are largely positive and welcoming. So despite the intense amount of Hathahate out there, it seems she’s still got plenty of devoted fans.
