Here’s an early Christmas present: One Direction, Jimmy Fallon and the Roots performing “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.” On classroom instruments. In ugly Christmas sweaters.

The British boy band performed the classic holiday tune on Monday’s episode of Late Night, fresh off their appearance on Saturday Night Live this weekend. Seated on either side of Fallon, you’ll see Harry Styles on the drum and Niall Horan on some kind of musical banana. You’ll also notice Liam Payne on the coconuts and Zayn Malik on the triangle.
