The Walking Dead’s Facebook made a tiny oops last night.
The popular zombie show posted a photo (spoiler sirens blaring at the link, FYI) hinting at a character’s death before the midseason finale aired on the West Coast, causing incensed fans and viewers to post their sentiments on the page.
“This is the dumbest post I’ve ever seen from an official fb page. Spoiling a major plot point for millions of your fans? Someone should be fired over this,” commenter Shayne Daugherty wrote. Many people defended the show’s Facebook page, telling people to not go on social media if they didn’t want the show to be spoiled.
According to the Telegraph, the page deleted the post but went on to repost it later.
The Walking Dead returns February 2015.
