Country music star Miranda Lambert won two major accolades at Wednesday’s Country Music Awards. Her latest album Platinum was voted album of the year, and her hit song Automatic won the artist her first single of the year award, USA Today reports.
“I really poured my heart and soul into this one,” Lambert said in her acceptance speech for the best album award.
The award ceremony’s 48th edition, held in Nashville, also saw Florida Georgia Line win best vocal duo for the second straight year. Little Big Town won their third consecutive award for top vocal group.
