The hit HBO show GIRLS has released a promo of the upcoming season 4 that shows Hannah going off to Iowa and Marnie really pursuing that singing career.
“This season of GIRLS is the girls making smarter choices and realizing that life is still hard,” says creator and star Lena Dunham in the teaser video.
Hannah (Dunham) is studying at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and is worried about her relationship with her boyfriend Adam (Adam Driver). Marnie (Allison Williams) is still making music—and possibly illicit romance—with actor Desi (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), while Jessa (Jemima Kirke) is getting into yet more desperate situations. We also get to meet the parents of Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet). “I always sort of imagined that she came out of a seashell or a peapod or something,” says Mamet.
