Stephen Colbert has announced that the last The Colbert Report will air on Dec. 18.
Colbert, who will replace David Letterman as host of The Late Show, revealed the date during Thursday’s show, writes The Hollywood Reporter.
A date has not been set for Letterman’s exit, but Colbert is expected to make the move from Comedy Central to CBS in 2015.
The Colbert Report’s timeslot will be filled by The Minority Report With Larry Wilmore.
