What the hell is Diego Luna doing here? Diego Luna does not belong here.
And by “here” we mean “singing a Radiohead song.” But it happened and nobody can do anything about it. Here’s how this went down: director Jorge Gutierrez reached out to the band asking for permission to use “Creep” in his upcoming animated film, The Book of Life, which stars Luna as young aspiring musician Manolo. Though Radiohead often refuses to lend their songs to films, they said yes this time.
“And they, for the first time ever, said, you know, the way you’re using the song is exactly what that song is for,” Gutierrez told The Latino Review. “It’s a teenager who doesn’t feel like he doesn’t fit in. And that’s who Manolo is.”
