Lebron James was on in Cleveland Tuesday night. With more than 20,000 fans in attendance, he drained 43 points in a prodigal performance in front of his hometown leading the Heat to a 100-96 win over the Cavaliers.
As Dwayne Wade sat on the bench due to an injured knee, James appeared to be in “one of the zones” from the opening whistle. In the first quarter alone, James netted 25 points.
“When I started the game off, I felt like I could have gone for 50 or 60,” James told ESPN.
James improved to 13-1 against his former team on Tuesday night after leaving Cleveland in 2010 following seven seasons with the Cavaliers.
