Pretty Little Liars Star Joins Adam Sandler Flick

Ashley Benson, of Pretty Little Liars fame, will co-star in the Adam Sandler action-comedy Pixels.

The cast also includes Kevin James, Josh Gad, Peter Dinklage, Michelle Monaghan and Brian Cox, The Wrap reports. Chris Columbus will direct the big-budget film. The plot revolves around aliens who misinterpret feeds of video games into a declaration of war against them by Earth and invade the planet. The President (played by James) must ask his childhood friend and video game champion, Sam Brenner (Sandler) to lead the fight against the aliens using his video game skills.

The film is set to premiere on May 15, 2015.
