Marilyn Manson To Join Sons of Anarchy Cast

1 minute read

Sounds like Sons of Anarchy is aiming to go out with a bang. Shock-rocker Marilyn Manson will be joining the cast of FX’s motorcycle gang drama for its upcoming seventh and final season. The musician will have a recurring role playing Ron Tully, a powerful white supremacist who aligns with Charlie Hunnam’s Jax Teller.

Manson, who has appeared in shows such as Californication and Eastbound and Down in the past, said he has a personal impetus for joining the show. The announcement that Manson will be appearing on Sons comes just two weeks after his mother, Barbara Warner, passed away and the musician noted he had his father in mind when he joined the show.

Sons has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father’s,” he said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. “So I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema. After all, the very heart of SOA is about that relationship. So, now all I need is a motorcycle.”

The final season of Sons of Anarchy will premiere in September.
