The heroes over at [Screen Junkies](http://www.youtube.com/user/screenjunkies/featured) have spoofed another film for their Honest Trailers series. This time, it’s _Hunger Games: Catching Fire_, the “only film about starving children with its own delicious sandwich tie-in.” (Cue Subway advertisement.)

The spoof trailer for the _Hunger Games_ sequel takes us back to the fictional nation of Panem, “where it’s taken 75 years for people to get a little bit upset about the annual child murdering competition.”

Really, nothing is immune to snark here: the fact that Jennifer Lawrence’s character, Katniss, has to choose between the totally hunky Gale and the totally incompetent Peeta, the fact that there are always a handle of tributes killed off before you even learn their names, the fact that the main characters ride around in a train the whole time even though flying hovercrafts exist, or America’s continued insistence that Jennifer Lawrence is just a totally down-to-Earth normal girl like the rest of us.

Of course, the trailer also riffs on the fact that the _Hunger Games_ franchise is determined to drag itself out as long as possible. The good news about that, though, is we’ll get to see more honest _Hunger Games_ trailers later on.
