Pelosi added that she believes it’s “a stunning thing that a white supremacist” would be a permanent member of the National Security Council. Trump and his administration have seen [intense backlash](http://time.com/4652842/donald-trump-national-security-stephen-bannon/?iid=sr-link1) from Democrats and Republicans since announcing the NSC shakeup over the weekend. Democrats like Pelosi were [already worried](http://time.com/4569588/donald-trump-stephen-bannon-breitbart-white-house/?iid=sr-link1) about [Bannon’s role in the White House](http://time.com/4657665/steve-bannon-donald-trump/?xid=homepage&pcd=hp-magmod), and the administration’s actions in recent days have cemented those fears. But Pelosi went further on Thursday, also questioning Trump’s ability to serve as president.
