One fan of The Office had a little fun when putting together her son’s Halloween costume… and it tickled the show’s star, Jenna Fischer.
The little fella was dressed up as Dwight Schrute, the assistant to the regional manager at Dunder Mifflin. The costume nailed the details of Rainn Wilson’s unforgettable character’s middle part, mustard shirt, glasses, and even a beet for good measure as Dwight was a passionate beet farmer when he wasn’t trying to get Pam’s husband Jim (John Krasinski) pre-fired. Her final touch was to add an office sign with Dwight’s self-described three words: “Hard-working, alpha male, jack hammer, merciless, and insatiable.”
Fischer tweeted a photo of the little boy along with the caption, “Happy Halloween!!!” on Monday.
After the boy was misidentified as Fischer’s son, the actress noted, “This is the son of Ashley Gill, a fan, who sent me the photo. I loved her little Dwight so much I had to share.”
