Jimmy Kimmel Tries to Get to the Bottom of Donald Trump’s Movie Opinions

"Was Bridget Jones's Baby better than Bridget Jones's Diary?"

Following Donald Trump’s Saturday night speech in Pennsylvania, Jimmy Kimmel took it upon himself to decipher the Republican nominee’s message during Monday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!

The host began by playing a clip of Trump’s dialogue in which he transitioned from discussing companies moving to Mexico to talking about today’s movie landscape.

People are negotiating – and owners of companies are negotiating – to move your companies out to Mexico and other places. You watch. And it’s getting worse. It’s not getting better, it’s getting worse. And you’re unsuspecting right now. You say to your wife: ‘Let’s go to a movie after Trump.’ But you won’t do that because you’ll be so high and so excited that no movie is going to satisfy you. Okay? No movie. You know why? Honestly? Because they don’t make movies like they used to – is that right?

Kimmel then moved to his chalkboard to attempt to interpret Trump’s aside.
