Despite rampant speculation that Angela Lansbury will be making an appearance on Game of Thrones‘ next season, the 90-year-old Murder, She Wrote star has not been cast in the HBO drama, according to Entertainment Weekly.
EW reported Wednesday that the actress’ team stated the rumors were “not accurate,” putting an end to many fans’ hopes that the Dame was headed to Westeros.
To date, the only official cast addition has been Oscar winner Jim Broadbent, who was confirmed to be playing a “significant” role in the upcoming seven-episode season.
The premiere of Thrones‘ seventh season will air on HBO in 2017.
