Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj will rock the MTV Video Music Awards stage once again.
MTV announced Wednesday the two will perform “Side to Side,” a collaboration from Grande’s third record, Dangerous Woman, during the upcoming awards show. Grande made the news herself with a time-lapsed custom-created art feature by London-based illustrator Hattie Stewart.
During the 2014 ceremony, Grande and Minaj opened the show with a medley of the pop singer’s hit “Break Free,” the rapper’s “Anaconda,” and then their collaboration with Jessie J, “Bang Bang.” Grande did not appear last year, while Minaj performed “Trini Dem Girls” and “The Night Is Still Young” before Taylor Swift joined in at the end of the latter. Swift then led into the first few lines of the beef-squashing “Bad Blood.”
Grande and Minaj join previously announced performers Britney Spears with G-Eazy, Nick Jonas featuring Ty Dolla $ign, Future, and Video Vanguard recipient Rihanna.
The VMAs will air live from New York’s iconic Madison Square Garden on Sunday at 9 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
