Looking for a new pet? If you’re into the furry bovine variety, then you’re in luck — a Texas family is selling their tame, housebroken bison to the tune of $5,950.
In a Craigslist ad, owner Karen Schoeve of Argyle, Texas, writes that Bullet is an eight-year-old bison that weighs 1000 pounds, “does not potty in the house,” and is somewhat like “a precious gigantic dog.” Bullet is also famous, having made an appearance in the children’s book, Heaven Is For Animals by Nancy Tillman.
For those interested in adopting Bullet, Schoeve has this criteria — Bullet, “must be revered and respected as a buffalo.” Indeed.
