1 minute read

Guns N’ Roses front man Axl Rose will lend his voice to AC/DC so the rock band can continue its “Rock or Bust” world tour in the absence of lead singer Brian Johnson.

Rose will be filling in for Johnson, who has stopped touring over hearing loss concerns, AC/DC said in a statement on Saturday. “AC/DC band members would like to thank Brian Johnson for his contributions and dedication to the band throughout the years,” the statement said.

“We wish him all the best with his hearing issues and future ventures. As much as we want this tour to end as it started, we understand, respect and support Brian’s decision to stop touring and save his hearing,” the band added.

Rose “kindly offered his support” to resume the tour, which include 10 postponed U.S shows that will be rescheduled and stops in Europe starting May 7 in Lisbon, Portugal, AC/DC said. Rose will then go back to head the Guns N’ Roses “Not in This Lifetime” summer tour.
