Actress Ruby Rose has spoken about her depression in the past. And on April 1, she took some time to reflect about her struggle in an emotional series of tweets that reminds others suffering from depression that “We all deserve to be here.”
Rose followed those messages with an Instagram post that went into more detail on April 2:
This is just one example of Rose’s efforts to help and encourage others. On April 2, Rose was also awarded GLAAD’s Stephen F. Kolzak Award. “She tells the world that no one can judge us and no one can stop us,” said Taylor Swift while presenting Rose the award. “She is a woman of many talents. She is my friend, Ruby Rose.”
