Not since the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards has there been such a glorious day for fans of NSYNC. On Thursday, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick, two members of the beloved boy band, announced that they’re working on a new project together. Kirkpatrick was the first to share the news, tweeting a picture of Fatone with the caption, “Back in the studio with this guy. The studio looks a bit familiar as well.”
Fatone then joined in with a photo of his own. “Yes we are in the studio for a song,” he wrote. “Will fill u in when the time is right.”
Although it’s unclear when this long-awaited track will be released to the general public and whether or not Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass or JC Chasez will be getting in on the action, it’s nice to know that these two are keeping our NSYNC reunion hopes alive.
