In case you’ve been living under a rock, people are going pretty crazy over Deadpool. The untraditional superhero flick smashed multiple box office records with a whopping $135 million opening weekend and earned the biggest debut ever for an R-rated film. In fact, some viewers were so enthralled by the Merc with a Mouth that they’re already demanding more from Marvel’s latest star.
One die-hard fan, Andrew Stege, has even created a Change.org petition to bring the Ryan Reynolds character to Saturday Night Live. The plea, which is addressed to Lorne Michaels, SNL, Reynolds and NBC, requests that an episode of the beloved variety show features Deadpool as its host. “I have not watched a full episode of SNL in years because I just haven’t been able to stomach an entire episode, but having Deadpool host, star, and be all over the episode would get the DVR set so I can watch it again and again!,” Stege wrote.

The petition was started four weeks ago and has garnered over 25,000 supporters to date.
